Hi,

this is not a problem of the date picker, when you click on the date picker and the date is inserted in your form, the work of the date picker finish, infact if you test on hand write the date in your form you will find the same result.

Your problem is the database or system config. I now that sometimes MsAccess modify the date format and change the month with the day, but only when the change return a good date.
You must verify the format for the date you setup on your msaccess and the format you setup for the date on the server
