How to force download (not use cached copy)
View this persons public profile  DennisMaier   9:36 31 Jan 2014

Hi,

This is not a problem with the DwZone software, but I am looking for help.

I use the Excel writer & PDF writer to create links for our club board members to download the most recent list of members from our membership database.

The problem is after clicking on the download link, a cached version of the file (Excel or PDF) is opened instead of a fresh download.

The method I use for the download link, is my link links to an otherwise empty PHP page that just has the server behavior added to run on page load.

Is there a way (other than expecting the client to remember to refresh there browser) to code the page to force a fresh download of the Excel or PDF file?

Thanks,
Dennis
