Hi,
One of our customers is trying to add You Tube videos to their site using the WYSIWYG editor. The mothod they are using is to place the cursor where they want the video to appear then click the Insert HTML icon and then paste the "Embed" code provided by You Tube.
When they view the page normally the You Tube video appears in the window as it should but if they go back to edit the page there is nothing in the editor to indicate where the video (or inserted html code) is - therefore they can't select it to edit it or delete it.
Is there a way of including an icon in the editor window indicating an Inserted HTML code block or is there a better way of embedding/inserting You Tube videos on the page?
After typing the post above I searched Google and found a You Tube plugin at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/youtubepluginfo/ but I don't know how to add a new plugin to the toolbar of your WYSIWYG editor - is it possible to explain how to add the plugin to the toolbar?
Regards, Adrian |
