Hi,

This site is hosted with a hosting company on a shared hosting (www.1and1.co.uk) so I can't open the server on the desktop.

I need to tell our client what they need ask/tell their hosting company - I don't understand when you say the "server can't find himself" - can you explain what this means. Do they have some ASP function turned off?, is it still something to do with Sessions?

I appreciate your help and appreciate that it is the hosting company and not your script but I need to tell our client what the problem is as the hosting company are currently saying everything is fine their end and that the script is faulty.
