Tiny MCE You Tube code disappears when edited
View this persons public profile  Adrian Smith   8:46 14 Jun 2013

Hi,

We're using the Tiny MCE WYSIWYG editor. When we add a You Tube video the video is added to the editor and when we save the page we can see the video on the page. If we then go back and edit that page the editor removes all the You Tube code.

This happens if you add the code via the "Insert Embedded Media" icon or the Insert embedded code" (using the Your Tube IFrame code) or Insert HTML code method. All methods show the video but when you re-edit the page it removes the code (it's completely gone from the source view too).

I have found that if you use the "old You Tube" embed code (<object>....) added via "Insert embedded code" the video stays even when edited.

Can you help.
