OK - so this is a "real" question. I'm importing from an Excel file with many columns. I always start with 10 columns at a time to ensure no errors. All seemed to be working fine, until... I reached a column in the Excel file that contained more than 255 characters (The cell is set to "General"). It errored when attemptin to import into the Access field. I viewed the properties of the Access field and it IS set to MEMO (Should be unlimited characters); however, will not import. I counted the characters in the Excel column cell and removed all characters AFTER 255 = It imported fine. Is there something I need to configure to make this import correctly and not error if there are more than 255 characters in the Excel file? Again - the Access field is set to MEMO.
