Date issues with excel

yes i know that but its not working the excel file has over 200 rows and 3 columns with dates wich the excel comes in the format DD/MM/YYYY so i selected that format in the dreamweaver behavoir for the import export tools when the files is imported to the database the dates are all incorrect example most dates are

30/09/2011
27/10/2011
26/10/2011
18/10/2011
26/10/2011
31/10/2011

But when imported they are
2001-03-05
2001-11-20
.
.
.
and so on nore the year month or days are correct if i select the fields to be text then they are imported as a number for example 4098123 instead of a date, going crazy trying to get this to work
