Since installing CS3, my Server Behavior window shows a red exclamation mark beside any new Advanced Mail and Advanced Mail Update behaviors.
If I edit an existing Advanced Mail behavior, it adds a second hidden field <input type="hidden" name="DW_Form_Name2" value="form1" />.
If editing an Advanced Mail Plug In, it throws up an error The original Recordset specified in this script was not found., then it adds a second hidden field <input type="hidden" name="RG_recordId" value="<%="" & replace(rsResponse.Fields.Item("ID").Value,"'","''") & ""%>" />
If I delete the additional hidden fields, the extensions continues to work normally, just shows the red exclamation mark.
If I edit the behaviors in DW8 instead of CS3, the anomaly is a little different; if I delete all the hidden fields and then edit the behavior, sometimes it will add them back in correctly, but then the behavior disappears from the window.
Behaviors added to other pages before CS3 was installed do not exhibit this anomaly.
I am using the latest versions of both extensions, however the download page shows Advanced Mail and AM Plug In to be version 2.3.6 and 1.2.4, but the Extension Manager shows 2.3.3 and 1.2.2 |
