DragDrop Sort - Broken After DW Template Update

I am observing a problem with the behavior. After I make a change to the Dreamweaver template and apply the changes to the change with the DragDrop Sort behavior, the functionality is broken.

To resolve, I:
1) go to the page which has the behavior included
2) double click the DragDrop Sort Table server behavior
3) allow all fields to populate (from previous settings. no changes made)
4) hit OK to reapply the server behavior

I think it's odd that after each DW template update that I have to reapply the server behavior. Do you have a fix for this?

Lastly, if the extension has to be updated, I would REALLY appreciate a way to redirect after the sort has been performed. If this was implemented, I would be able to trigger a notification email highlighting that the sort order had been changed.
