Alpha channel when resizing transparent .png

Hi,

We have a client who is uploading lots of images to their website (using your ASP Upload and Resize extension). The uploaded image is resized and two thumbnail images are also created.

The problem is that the images they are uploading are PNG files with a transparent background - when the images are resized (by the extension) the transparent area turns black.

Is there any way of either maintaining the transparent area or have the transparent area turn white instead of black?
